Welcome to PDF Editor & PDF Tools (the "App"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PDF Editor & PDF Tools mobile application.

1. About the App

PDF Editor & PDF Tools provides tools that may allow you to:

• Convert images to PDF
• Convert PDF pages to images
• Merge PDF files

• Compress PDF files
• Lock or password-protect PDF files
• Add text or image watermarks
• Create and add electronic signatures
• Preview and manage PDF documents
• Perform other PDF-related operations available within the App

Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using the App, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms.
• You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
• You have the legal authority to use the files and information you process through the App.
• You will not use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the App.

3. Your Documents and Files

The App allows you to select and process PDF files, images, documents, signatures, and other content from your device.

You are solely responsible for:

• The files and content you choose to process.
• Having the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or authorization to use those files.
• The accuracy and legality of the documents you create or modify.
• Maintaining backups of important documents.
• Ensuring that your use of the App does not violate any applicable law or the rights of another person or organization.

You must not use the App to process, create, modify, or distribute content that is illegal or that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.

4. Local Processing of Documents

Where a particular feature is designed for local processing, documents may be processed directly on your device rather than being uploaded to our servers.

However, your files may leave your device if you intentionally use Android sharing features, third-party applications, cloud services, or other services to transfer or share them.

You are responsible for understanding where your files are being sent when using third-party sharing or storage services.

5. Electronic Signatures

The App may allow you to create or add handwritten signatures to PDF documents.

You are solely responsible for:

• The signature you create or use.
• Ensuring that you have authority to sign the relevant document.
• Determining whether an electronic signature created using the App is legally valid for your particular transaction or jurisdiction.
• Ensuring that the signed document satisfies any legal, regulatory, contractual, or organizational requirements applicable to you.

The App does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a signature created using the App will be accepted as a legally binding electronic signature in every jurisdiction or situation.

6. PDF Passwords and Security

The App may provide features for protecting PDF files with passwords or encryption.

You are responsible for:

• Choosing an appropriate password.
• Keeping your password confidential.
• Maintaining a backup of important passwords.
• Ensuring that you have authorization to protect or encrypt the document.

We cannot guarantee that a password-protected document can be recovered if you forget or lose the password.

7. Watermarks

The App may allow you to add text or image watermarks to PDF documents.

You are responsible for ensuring that any watermark content, images, logos, trademarks, or other material you use is lawful and that you have the necessary rights or authorization to use it.

8. Accuracy and Reliability

The App is provided as a document-processing tool. Although we aim to provide reliable functionality, we do not guarantee that:

• Every PDF file will be processed successfully.
• Every document will retain its original formatting after editing or conversion.
• Converted files will be identical to the original files.
• Every feature will work with every PDF, image, device, operating system, or file format.
• The App will always be available or free from errors.
• Documents will never become corrupted or damaged.

You should maintain backups of important documents before performing editing, conversion, compression, merging, splitting, encryption, or other operations.

9. No Legal or Professional Advice

The App is a software tool and does not provide legal, financial, medical, professional, or other specialized advice.

You should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional when required.

You are responsible for determining whether documents created, edited, signed, encrypted, or otherwise processed using the App satisfy your legal, business, regulatory, or contractual requirements.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, privacy rights, or other rights.
• Create or distribute fraudulent or deceptive documents.
• Forge signatures or impersonate another person.
• Create documents for illegal activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the App except where permitted by applicable law.
• Circumvent security mechanisms or technical restrictions.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the App where we reasonably believe it is being used in violation of these Terms.

11. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob.

Advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable laws.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the App owner, its developers, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of applicable laws.
• Your violation of another person's rights.
• Documents or content you process, create, modify, or distribute through the App.

19. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if necessary to:

21. Children's Use

The App is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:
